Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is conveniently located in a nice neighborhood on the UWS, easily accessible to major attractions and transportation. The rooms, though on the smaller side, are well-appointed with comfortable beds, and the service is welcoming and professional. The dining options could be improved, but the overall value for money is decent.
The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions and offers a clean and comfortable stay with friendly staff. However, the dining options could be better, and some may find the room size a bit small.
I had a comfortable stay at the hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff. However, the noise from the ice machine room affected our sleep, and the lack of a fridge was inconvenient during hot days.
The hotel is ideally located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, close to Central Park, subway stations, and various amenities. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though there were some minor issues with the air conditioning. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, standing out in comparison to general service experiences. The dining options were varied with something for every taste. Overall, a convenient and welcoming stay with great service.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were a great size and very clean but had an old-fashioned look. The staff were helpful and accommodating, especially after my delayed flight, but I had to insist on a room change due to the temperature issue. The location was outstanding, close to major attractions and subway access, but the dining options were a bit overpriced for what they offered.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were quiet and easy to access, but the noise from traffic and bars disrupted my sleep. Also, the rooms tended to get hot and humid. The service was superb, especially the men at the entrance who were very nice and helpful. However, the price may not fully reflect the value received. The location was convenient with easy access to transportation and amenities, but the noise levels could be bothersome at times.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and very clean, and the entire hotel was spotless. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and expertly attentive. The location was outstanding for exploring the best of Manhattan, with easy access to Central Park, museums, and great dining options. The only downside was that the dining experience could have been more convenient.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and secure, but a little small - typical for NYC, but not the smallest. My only issue was the lack of enough outlets for all our devices with my husband and two teenagers along. The service was very helpful and excellent, especially the concierge who arranged good seats for a Broadway play. The location was outstanding, close to the subway, museum, and Central Park. The dining options were very good, and reasonably priced. Overall, a nice experience.
I found the hotel to be a mix of pros and cons. While the rooms were large, quiet, and exuded old New York charm, there was an issue with noise insulation. The location, however, was excellent, close to Central Park, the Museum of Natural History, and many restaurants. The friendly service made up for any shortcomings in the rooms.
The hotel rooms are quaint and beautiful with modern amenities, very clean and well-presented, but became intermittently noisy when the shower was on. The staff is helpful and courteous overall, but a few front desk staff lack friendliness. The location is excellent, close to transportation and various attractions. The dining options are excellent with something for all tastes, but the breakfast could be improved. Facilities are charming with new baths and great staff.
